Girish Rao, CMD Vidal Health Group

Girish Rao is an entrepreneur with exceptional ability to convert innovative ideas into viable businesses. Under his direction, the company has undertaken an aggressive and highly successful diversification & acquisition strategy in India & overseas. His vision, execution & employee empowerment skills make him widely respected thought leader in health insurance & healthcare digital transformation place.

 

Girish worked in leadership roles in various organizations like TTK Prestige Ltd. and Hutchison Telecom( now Vodafone India) before cofounding Vidal Health Group (formerly known as TTK Healthcare TPA Pvt. Ltd), in 2002.

 

Girish held notable position few of them include National Commission on Macroeconomics and Health (NCMH) – Panelist; Nova Medical Centres Pvt. Ltd., India’s first stand-alone Day Care Surgical Centre - MD & CEO; Swiss Re’ Strategic Development – Health, Asia - Managing Director ;  Health Advisory Board of British Telecom – Board Member 2008;  Disease Management Association of India (DMAI) - Founder Board Member.

 

Girish Rao continues to serve  multiple boards and organisations  like Advisory Board Member on Health Insurance Initiatives Working Group on Health Insurance, General Insurance Council (GIC) - Executive Committee Member and is the Past Immediate Chair of FICCI’s Advisory Board and Health Insurance Committee, active member of Insurance Advisory Committee of IRDAI and Health Insurance Forum IRDAI.

 

Rajan S, CEO

 

Rajan has deep knowledge about business and sharp business acumen. He works closely with his management team and employees at all levels to set corporate strategy.  His core competencies include Business Relationship Management, Business Planning, Sales, Business Development, and Customer Relationship Management.

 

He firmly believes in nurturing  collaborative culture that fosters innovation and allows the VHITPA to quickly pivot in a rapidly changing marketplace. He is well recognised industry veteran  in health insurance space and known for his quick problem solving ability. 

 

Rajan has worked with leading Corporates like Times of India, Ashok Leyland, United Breweries before venturing into TPA industry.

 

He has done his Masters in Business Administration from Sydenham Institute of Management, Mumbai and has a Fellowship from the Insurance Institute of India.

 

Guru kumar S, Chief Administrative Officer

 

In his professional career spanning 32 years  , Gurukumar has been associated with the Insurance Administration sectors. He  brings in his  wealth  experience and expertise to the Health Insurance Business. His core competencies include Process management, Customer Service and Operations management. 

 

Gurukumar started his career in 1991 with New India Assurance. He forayed into the private sector in 2002 and joined Royal Sundaram as their National Head. This was followed by a stint at Chola before moving to National Life and General Insurance, Muscat. He has been with us from 2015.

 

He is a Commerce graduate and is an Associate of Insurance Institute  of Inda (AIII) 

 

Dr. Yasmin Zulaika, Chief Medical Officer

 

Dr. Yasmin Zulaikha joined Vidal Health Group in 2004 and has been donning various hats in all lines of businesses.

She served in various areas which include Domestic and International Operations, Risk Management, Transition handling post merger.   Dr. Yasmin brings a profound expertise and in-depth experience to her role as the Chief Medical Officer. Her key competencies include Business administration, Process management, Health Insurance understanding, automation of processes, Medical rules, Risk management, Technology deployment, and Operations management. She has an amazing ability to visualise and convert big picture into actionable simple steps.

 

She is an MBBS graduate and has completed her Management Development Program from Welingkars. She is an Associate of Insurance Institute  of Inda (AIII) and Six Sigma Green Belt. She has completed course on Design Thinking from IIT.

 

Ajitha Menon, COO- Govt Business

 

In her professional career span of 20+ years Ajitha believed in the power of working for purpose-driven companies like Vidal Health group, whose mission is to help drive change in business and serve community. She leads Government Business vertical (Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY).

 

Under her leadership the  Government business expanded pan-India over last 5 years with significant growth in revenue, the number of lives serviced.

 

Ajitha is well recognised name in industry and  is the trusted go-to-person for stakeholders like State Nodal Agencies, Insurance companies, NHA  and State Government agencies on Digital Health India scheme implementation aspects. 

 

Prior to joining Vidal she worked in UK. She is commerce graduate and has done Masters in Business Administration. She is also CA(Inter). She has done Associateship from Insurance Institute of India.

 


G Sandhya Rani, HR Head

 

Sandhya is CHRO for Vidal Health Group. In this role, she is responsible for leading overall human resources strategy, talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational design & culture development, Learning & development, Comp & Benefits, HR operations and technology.

She is responsible to ensure HR plays a business enabler role to support dynamic business goals while ensuring the aspirations of  workforce pan-India is given top priority.

Prior to joining Vidal Health, Sandhya worked in leadership & key roles in West Unified Communications, ABB, HCL Technologies, HAL.

 

Her key competencies include Talent Management, Compensation and Benefits, Succession Planning, Mergers and Acquisitions, OD Interventions and Program Management.

She is a graduate in statistics and  MBA in Human Resources.

 

Tanvir Asad, Head – IT & SOG

 

Tanvir has over 20 years of experience in Healthcare Delivery and Health Insurance Administration sectors.

 He heads IT & Strategic Operations Group in VHITPA. He works with leadership to ensure successful implementation of new processes, technology or strategy

 

He has been in TPA industry for almost 2 decades. He handled end to end operations and IT in Vipul Medcorp TPA. He has played key role in digital transformation in TPA space as TPA industry evolved.

 

His core competencies include in-depth understanding of TPA regulatory guidelines, End to End operations which include Process management, Technology deployment and Operations management. 

He has done an Advanced Diploma in Software Engineering..
